The Worcester Young Businessmen's Association is an organization comprised of young, professional businessmen who are successful members of the Worcester business community. The YBA provides its members with a variety of monthly programs designed to educate and inform, provide leadership opportunities, and develop a strong business and social network within the community.
In addition to the monthly programs, the YBA holds a series of fund-raising events throughout the year for educational scholarships to young men in the Worcester area.
Membership in the YBA is by invitation only. To be considered for membership, prospective members must:
- Demonstrate a willingness to serve the Greater Worcester Community and have a record of past community service.
- Have a position of responsibility in the company for which he works or be a candidate for such a position in the future.
- Be willing to participate in YBA community projects as they may be implemented.
- Not have attained his fortieth birthday on or before October 1st of the current business year.
